How much technical skill is required to set up and use the service?
Virtually none. If you can access our website on your computer, you can set up the Loud & Clear Cloud Business Phone System. Installing and connecting the system is extremely easy and does not require any special wiring or service tech appointments.

Can I keep my current phone number?
Yes, you can. When you’re setting up your system online, indicate that you wish to keep your current phone number. Then leave it to us. We will contact your former provider and take care of everything. Please note that the process may take a week or so.

What is Fax over IP?
Fax over Internet Protocol, or FoIP, refers to the process of sending and receiving fax transmissions via a VoIP network.

Can I receive a Fax through the system?
We provide a unique fax number capable of receiving faxes. The fax received is converted to a PDF format and will be sent to the email registered on the Loud & Clear Cloud account.  You can also send faxes through the system.

If the power goes out do I miss my calls?
No. In fact, this is one of the benefits of choosing a Cloud Based phone system. In the event of power failure, all of your incoming calls will go to voicemail and you can access these calls remotely through any phone, anytime anywhere. Downed power lines do not mean a loss of business.

How many phone lines do I get with your service?
The base system comes with one line and one cordless extension. As your business needs grow, you have the ability to expand to 3 lines and up to 8 unique phone numbers.

How do I hook up/connect the system?
Installing and connecting the system is extremely easy and does not require any special wiring or service tech appointments.You can do it yourself in three steps:
Step 1. From our homepage, click the “activate my phone” button to activate your service and set up your direct-dial numbers and calling features to suit your unique business needs.
Step 2. Plug the main system into an Internet broadband connection.
Step 3. Distribute the cordless phones with their charging bases to your staff.
After that, you’re in business!

What is the difference between an extension and a line?
A line is your business’s direct phone number. An extension uses the same number but allows you to place a cordless handset in another location within your business premises for convenience.

How many extensions can the system support?
The Loud & Clear Cloud System enables your business to support up to eight unique phone numbers and 6 extensions one of which is typically reserved and dedicated to fax.

Is the system expandable? How can I expand it?
As your business needs grow, you have the ability to expand to 3 lines and up to 8 unique phone numbers and 6 extensions. You can expand the system to meet your needs by logging onto: My Account on loudandclearcloud.com/cloud to add more lines, phone numbers or service features.

Your phone system comes with monthly service. Does that mean I cannot choose a service provider?
That’s correct. The system is hosted, maintained, upgraded and supported 24/7 by Loud & Clear and is not compatible with any other provider.

Will I still be paying my Internet Service Provider or is that included in Loud & Clear’s Cloud System service?
Loud & Clear is not an Internet provider. You will need to keep your Internet provider and broadband connection in order to use our phone system.

How much does the Loud & Clear Cloud Service Cost?
Loud & Clear’s pricing plans are designed with small businesses in mind. We offer low fixed monthly rates for up to 3 lines as follows:1 Hosted Voice Line at $39.95 per month.
2 Hosted Voice Lines at $79.90 per month.
3 Hosted Voice Lines at $119.85 per month.
All lines support up to 8 unique phone numbers and 6 extensions.

Can I process credit card transactions through your system?
The Loud & Clear Cloud Business Phone System can support processing credit card payments provided that your credit card processing vendor supports phone transactions. Payments are processed through a feature for that allows touch-tone keying-in of credit/debit card numbers. This is a key consideration for choosing a phone system if your business depends upon processing credit card transactions over the phone.

  • Supports up to Three Simultaneous Calls
    When things really get busy, each direct line can support up to three simultaneous calls and feature music on hold to entertain your callers while they wait.
  • Voice Mail to Email
    Get your voice messages delivered to a specified email address as email messages with a .wav file attachment. If available, the caller's name and number are also included in the email subject line.
  • Up to Five-way Conferencing
    The Loud & Clear Cloud serves as a virtual conference room that can accommodate up to five participants.
  • Remote Office
    Access and use your business phone from anywhere. It's great for teleworkers and mobile workers, as it enables them to use all the phone system features while working remotely.
  • Up to Eight Unique Phone Numbers
    Employees can have up to eight numbers and/or extensions assigned to them, with optional distinctive rings to their second and third phone numbers.
  • Music on Hold
    Simply upload an audio file (music, advertising, etc.) onto the system to be played whenever callers are on hold.
  • Auto Attendant
    You will have an automated receptionist to answer the phone with a personalized message and options for connecting to the operator, dialing by name or extension, or connecting to configurable extensions.
  • Call Forwarding
    You can redirect your incoming calls to another phone number. To activate, simply dial a feature access code or configure the service online.
